Most of you young folk won't remember the old Cold War, a period when when I sat both bemused and somewhat delighted by the Soviet Leader Nikita Kruschev banging one of his shoes on the desk at the United Nations in righteous fury at the actions of the allegedly perfidious 'Uncle Sam'... Well now we have a new one (Cold War) and to my mind more dangerous by far... I don't know about the 'WD 40' references (?) but I do remember the effects of Karelian Taiga vodka in the '70s and also, much later, a certain delightfully (and rightfully?) sarcastic Vodka distilled by certain Bristol distillers with a label referencing a dodgy 'event' in Salisbury and bought for me by my late beloved wife after hearing about the fuss on the BBC... Noting the same delightful effects from your 'NK,' I can happily rate this as a 10/10 vodka - only lacking the 'herbal' notes of a certain red toadstool allegedly common in the Taiga birch forests - which surpassed the early Vostoc spaceships in putting one in orbit around the planet Zog... But seriously, a super vodka which is best described as 'Strewth Juice!' I must purchase another as the way things are going...
